Frequently Asked Questions:

What should I expect the first time I visit?

An atmosphere of loving and caring people who are always ready to greet a new face and minister to your
needs.  You'll be met at the door by one of our friendly greeters who will be happy to show you around.  Please
be sure to fill out the visitor form in your bulletin and drop it in the offering plate so we can get to know you.

Where are you located?

Please click on the address above for a map.  If you need further directions, please feel free to contact the
church office.

How should I dress?

We focus on the heart and need more so than dress, therefore our "dress code" is relaxed. Sunday morning is
typically traditional dress (suits, coats, dresses, pantsuits) with Sunday and Wednesday night worship services
mainly casual (jeans, golf shirts, etc.). Whatever the style we ask you to dress modestly...this is the Lord's
house.

What Bible translation do you use?

We understand the Bible, in the original manuscripts, to be written in the languages of Greek, Hebrew and
some Aramaic, as such all English translations are "versions". Our pastor preaches primarily from the King
James Version but will use others (New International, New King James, New Living, etc.) to support or clarify a
point.

Are you a traditional or contemporary church?

Our worship experience has a "blended" approach with a good balance of traditional hymns, contemporary,
and praise songs. We are blessed with a dynamic praise band and accompanists who, under the leadership
of our worship pastor, can bring the congregant into the presence of God in worship.

What steps are taken to protect my child?

Rest assured that all precautions have been taken for the safety of your children while in our care.  Each
person that works with children/youth must complete a criminal background form, be a member in good
standing, and approved by the Pastor.  Additionally, there are always two or more adults per classroom or
event.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with
wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint"
~Isaiah 40:31
